All these songs were recorded decades before my time. Many if not all the artists of these timeless sounds have passed away. But similar to other sounds from the 70s and 80s this playlist of West African soulful instrument heavy band music lives on. It’s quite compelling we find ourselves in our adult years reaching back for the music and culture our ancestors thrived on. The oneness of humanity!
