TEARS IN THE CLUB
It's 3am. The smoke from the haze machine blinds you from any attempt of a exit from the relentless pressure your body feels as bass and synths pour over you. Yet you feel loved; comforted. Tears in the Club barely scratches the surface of the love affair that exist between club music and melodic RNB vocals. This grey area that simply shouldn't be. Where agressive BPM tempo changes and notion of romance unite to make some of the more compelling music today. It's familiar yet as alien as Prometheus. It's not a genre per say, but a collection of thoughts and rhythms that can be found in Montreal, New York, Berlin, Chicago, and South Africa. Enjoy.
